As a self-proclaimed global-citizen and an active advocate for a series of initiatives across the globe, David pursues the creation of a more sustainable and humane world. By joining the 260by60 initiative, he will contribute a little more to this cause.
David’s fascination with institutional relations, civic engagement, and the nonprofit sector led him towards a path of creative learning and passionate notions. Having had the opportunity to travel to over 30 different countries, he assimilated intercultural and professional experience, identifying with societies from the Caribbean, Europe, North America, South America, and Southeast Asia. With a background in International Relations and a family of spirited entrepreneurs, David embraces challenges and always finds a series of innovative solutions to any issue.
His involvement in the nonprofit sector started early during his studies as a Laureate Student Ambassador at his university in Madrid, Spain. Later he became an Ambassador of the LatAmWithHer movement, also being deeply involved with the Young Minds 4 Gender Equality (YM4GE) organization in New York, United States. In 2016, he dedicated most of his time being a Goodwill Ambassador of the Spanish national federation UNSA Spain, as well as a number of other organizations, while still advocating for the implementation of the Spanish Youth Delegation to the United Nations Programme.
He continuously keeps learning and growing as a human being, striving for the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
