Taylor is a youth activist and global education advocate who believes that equal and quality education for all is one of the greatest tools in creating community, growth, and development. Her work with refugee and underserved populations in Italy and Ghana sparked her dedication to empathy- and education-based international development.
While serving as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant on Malaysian Borneo, she fostered leadership amongst her secondary school students to build their confidence in English and themselves. She firmly believes in the power of youth to create a future of strong communities and growth.
Her advocacy work with the global education policy team at Global Citizen and her work in Baltimore surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement and environmental sustainability shaped her as the organizer she is today. Currently, Taylor is an organizer at The Climate Reality Project, where she encourages further local, environmental education and the transition of local communities across the U.S. to 100% renewable electricity, thanks to the help of a network of over 20,000 trained volunteers.
