260by26 – 260 million children learning by 2026 – is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by young activists and entrepreneurs committed to educational equity and social innovation.
We envision a world where all children are learning and gaining the necessary skills to reach their potential. Due to decreasing investment and numerous barriers to education, over 260 million children around the globe do not have this opportunity. We want to change this by 2026.
Our mission is to increase and improve the outcomes of giving to education by crowdfunding for youth-led organizations working toward social justice for children, inspiring philanthropists to make an education giving pledge, and fostering a network of institutions that will work together to achieve education for all.
About the Role
We are looking to add creatives (i.e. graphic designers, animators, illustrators, artists, videographers, photographers, copy writers) to our founding team who are passionate about our mission and vision. They will collaborate with one another and with our community in designing the look of 260by26, from branding, digital assets, and print materials. Our organization is in its infancy, and so we are open to experimentation in multimedia design!
Given that we are in the early stages of development and bootstrapping our operations, this will be a volunteer role with a flexible commitment of one to four hours a month.
Design fundraising and branded communications, including solicitations, infographics, data visualizations, pitch decks, videos, and other digital/print/multimedia materials to support 260by26’s mission.
Works closely with external communications and branding team to support creative strategy and ensure key messaging is communicated in work.

Interview: qualified candidates will be notified by end-of-day eastern time Monday, 9th July 2018 of a teleconference interview. We will ask you to bring a concept piece (e.g. a simple mockup, a tweet, a teaser trailer for 260by26, etc) relevant to your expertise.
Selection: those selected to join the founding team will be notified by end-of-day eastern time Monday, 23rd July 2018.
